The Center on Business and Society supports Tuck’s annual student-led Business & Society Conference that brings together leaders from a wide range of fields to discuss the important role that business leaders can play in creating a more sustainable world.
The Business & Society Conference has been a leading graduate student-run forum on business responsibility and the social context for business since 2002. It serves as a platform for conversation between current and future business leaders, and is attended by a majority of our student body as well as business leaders from around the world. In the most recent 2013 conference, we explored how positive and negative incentives—the proverbial carrots and sticks—can be used to drive positive change. Special focus has been placed on making the conference more interactive and will feature live cases, workshops, interactive panels and debates where participants will immerse themselves in the topic areas highlighted below.
